AB |PrintErythema  Multiforme  at  a  GlanceRare  cutaneous  and/or  mucocutaneous  eruption  characterized  by  target  lesions.Benign  course  but  frequent  recurrences.Most  cases  related  to  herpes  simplex  virus  (HSV)  infection.  Medications  are  not  frequent  causes.Frequent  recurrences  can  be  prevented  by  long-term  use  of  anti-HSV  medications.  Thalidomide  is  usually  effective  in  recalcitrant  recurrent  cases.
