AB A  36-year-old  woman  presents  to  the  emergency  department  with  left-sided  flank  pain.  The  pain  is  severe,  located  just  below  her  left  ribs,  and  has  been  constant  for  the  past  12  hours.  It  does  not  radiate  or  change  with  position.  She  also  reports  a  fever  to  101°F  and  general  malaise.
