AB Anemia  is  a  comorbidity  of  progressive  chronic  kidney  disease  (CKD).Anemia  of  CKD  results  from  the  inability  of  the  kidney  to  produce  significant  quantities  of  erythropoietin.Decreased  red  blood  cell  survival  and  iron  deficiency  are  cofactors.
