AB IgA  vasculitis  (Henoch-Schönlein)  is  a  small-vessel  vasculitis  characterized  by  palpable  purpura  (most  commonly  distributed  over  the  buttocks  and  lower  extremities),  arthralgias,  gastrointestinal  signs  and  symptoms,  and  glomerulonephritis.
