AB The  hypoactive  sexual  desire  disorder  is  the  most  prevalent  type  of  sexual  dysfunction.  In  studies  of  women  who  report  sexual  complaints,  approximately  8–10%  meet  the  criteria  for  this  diagnosis.  Women  with  hypoactive  sexual  desire  disorder  report  at  least  6  months  of  low  motivation  or  desire  for  sexual  activity  with  associated  significant  personal  distress.  The  Decreased  Sexual  Desire  Screener  (https://www.sexhealthmatters.org/resources/decreased-sexual-desire-screener)  is  a  validated  self-administered  questionnaire  that  can  aid  clinicians  in  diagnosing  this  disorder.
