AB The  most  common  lymphoid  malignancies  are  discussed  in  Chaps.  102,  103,  104,  105  and  107,  myeloid  leukemias  in  Chaps.  100  and  101,  myelodysplastic  syndromes  (MDS)  in  Chap.  98,  and  myeloproliferative  syndromes  in  Chap.  99.  This  chapter  will  focus  on  the  more  unusual  forms  of  hematologic  malignancy.  The  diseases  discussed  here  are  listed  in  Table  106-1.  Each  of  these  entities  accounts  for  <1%  of  hematologic  neoplasms.
