VIDEO A12-3: Pneumothorax.

On ultrasound, normal lung should be seen sliding back and forth across the pleural surface (bright white horizontal line). In this clip, lung sliding is absent, consistent with pneumothorax. Other pathology, including large parenchymal blebs, can also result in the absence of lung sliding.
