AB Diastolic  hypertension  in  the  absence  of  major  risk  factors  and  target  organ  damage  is  defined  as  diastolic  blood  pressure  ≥90  mm  Hg.Systolic  hypertension  in  the  absence  of  major  risk  factors  and  target  organ  damage  is  defined  as  systolic  blood  pressure  ≥140  mm  Hg.In  the  presence  of  normal  diastolic  blood  pressure  (<90  mm  Hg),  systolic  hypertension  is  referred  to  as  isolated  systolic  hypertension.
