AB High-dose  chemotherapy  (HDC)  with  autologous  hematopoietic  progenitor  cell  (HPC)  transplant  is  an  effective  treatment  modality  for  several  hematologic  malignancies  and  selected  solid  tumors.  This  chapter  reviews  its  current  role  in  the  treatment  of  cancer  and  outlines  promising  future  directions  of  progress.
