  1. List the risk factors for breast cancer including modifiable and nonmodifiable risk factors.
  2. Understand which genetic syndromes predispose to breast cancer.
  3. Explain the utility of self-breast exams, breast exam by a medical provider, and regular mammograms in screening for breast cancer.
  4. Describe the approach for the workup of an abnormal mammogram.
  5. State the workup for a patient presenting with a palpable breast mass based on the age of the patient.
  6. List benign and malignant breast neoplasms and the prognosis of each.

Clip Content from an Access site

Clipping allows you to browse content on the MH Medical sites that your institution is subscribed and select (or "clip") it to be added to a learning module.

To begin clipping

, select the site(s) from the following and browse for the content that you want to clip:
  • You have access to:


How to clip content from a textbook

  • Step 1: Select the scissors icon from the toolbar.
  • Step 2: Move the pointer to the chapter title, section title, paragraph, figure title or table title that you want to clip.
  • Step 3: Clip once on the applicable content.

You will then be prompted to identify which learning module the content should be added.

How to clip other types of content

Other non-textbook types of content can be clipped such as multimedia, audio files, cases, learning tools, and lectures. To clip these types of content, select the "Clip" button that appears next to item that you want clipped.
